The real version of About Rodentia Studio :
Hello! I'm Dami!
I make all of these pieces with my own two hands! I try to source my components from ethical sellers or other small businesses. I never buy from hobby lobby, and I try my best to avoid Amazon. All of my pieces come from my own brain. My brain comes up with these ideas by thinking about stuff I myself enjoy, like animals, spooky stuff, funny stuff, and pretty stuff, but mostly animals. I'm inspired by miniatures, beatrix potter, trash, and nature. I was born and grew up in Oregon, but have lived in Chicago for the past 5 years. I live in a one room studio apartment with my spouse and two baby cats, Arthur and Dutch. All of my pieces are crafted here in this tiny studio at my ikea desk that took me 4 hours to build.
Some more irrelevant (but interesting) stuff about me is that I dropped out of a special art based high school my sophomore year (due to becoming homeless for several years), I enjoy tattooing myself in my free time, I draw with my non dominant hand for fun, I have worked and volunteered at countless animal shelters and vet clinics, I'm pursuing an associates degree in psychology at my local community college, I love star wars, my favorite animes are death note and attack on titan, my favorite manga is chainsaw man, my favorite avenger is iron man, my favorite starbucks order is a brown sugar oatmilk shaken espresso, I have generalized anxiety + OCD + depression (and am a virgo), and I love crushed red pepper flakes on everything. I hope I did not scare you away, and I hope you enjoyed reading about the artist you are supporting!
Thanks so much for visiting my website, hope you find something you like!
